How to enter:
Reply to this thread and convince us why YOU should win the ticket to the OUYA Launch Event
BE CREATIVE... include videos, pictures, photoshoppery, songs, skits, and anything else that will make you stand out from the competition. Heck, get an OUYA tattoo or make an OUYA cake or do something fun and zany!
Both consumers and developers are welcome to enter, but developers have a slight edge as we're giving them the "tie goes to the developer" rule.
You MUST be able to attend the event and either live in the San Francisco area or make your own travel arrangements to attend the event. The ticket is non-transferrable and the winner must plan on using it themselves!

The stars have aligned that this is my destiny. I fly to San Francisco on March 27th from Boston to attend a 2-day conference for my day job. The same stars even made sure it wasn't a conflict with this event as the evenings I have completely free.
Who doesn't want to hang out with an avid gamer? Oh - I've grown up consoles since Atari and all with me currently owning about a dozen different systems. But I also used to be a competitive gamer (for example, in 2008 in Germany, I took a World Cyber Games Silver medal losing to the Singapore representative in Asphalt 4, source 1 and source 2). I could give those at the launch event a run for their money on any games we try and really put any competitive multiplayer games through a good test. ^_^
I'm developing an Ouya release title. To be frank, one that has lost both development competition it has been entered in (the 10-day Ouya CREATE Jam and the MassDigi Challange held her in Boston two weeks ago). They say the third time is a charm, so odds dictate I am due to win this competition, right? Would be awesome to be at the launch event representing a game built from the ground-up with the Ouya in mind as the primary platform.
Sorry guys I'm not the most talented so I will not be posting a video with this attempt to win the contest. Instead I'll just tell you why I'd like to go to this event. Since the OUYA was first announced I followed it on KickStarter I was really excited for it but due to money constraints I'd constantly put off buying it. When I finally had the money for it the KickStarter was done, sucks. I do plan to buy one after it launches but it would've been nice to support them during their KickStarter project. I'd like to attend this because I'm a big fan of the project and I've never been to a launch event so it'd be a cool experience.
Also I am an aspiring developer I currently work in QA for a major company and I've been a part of the gaming industry for over a year now.
