Thread: What apps will OUYA get?

I'm curious to see what type of app support OUYA will get. We know it's a gaming console... that's the whole point. But being built on Android it leaves the door wide open. Their domain name is OUYA.tv which makes you wonder a little bit. If the development community supports it with lots of non-gaming apps, will the OUYA become a Google TV competitor and a product that exists in the general Home Entertainment realm?

i wonder if it will get the high profile games like Call of Duty or Batman?

There's just no way that there won't be facebook and twitter apps for this thing... I'd be willing to bet we'll see those. Along with pandora, and netflix (hopefully).

Im hoping World of Goo, minecraft etc maybe even COD if we are lucky

A game I would think would be cool to see on it would be N+.

If my memory is correct, it's a platformer about a ninja... If I'm right it was a pretty popular flash game.

Me, I'm hoping that this gets a lot of apps, I would think that video streaming (youtube, netflix, hulu plus) would be a given. It makes perfect sense to me.

One of my pals has an apple tv, he uses it all the time, this would be like that but better (android, and games )

I think this could easily be a really cool thing for the whole family

Yeah, N+ was a flash game and they released it for the Xbox a long time ago as an arcade game. I hope it would get this game also as maybe another like castle crashers.

Will OUYA support DLNA along with XBMC?
